Set by the sea near Narbonne, Hollie and Alex celebrated their wedding weekend surrounded by vineyards, family and close friends at Château Puits es Pratx. Their day unfolded slowly — intimate, romantic and deeply emotional — exactly as they had invisioned it.

Their Story

Hollie and Alex travelled from the UK to the South of France to create a wedding that felt true to them — relaxed, heartfelt and focused on the people they love most. Both nurses, they wanted their wedding weekend to be less about performance and more about connection.

 

Château Puits es Pratx, nestled between vineyards and the Mediterranean coast, offered the perfect setting. Over the course of the weekend, guests gathered to enjoy long conversations, warm summer evenings and the calm rhythm of the French countryside.

 

Their ceremony took place in the afternoon, filled with emotion and quiet moments that needed no embellishment. As the light softened, everyone came together in the courtyard by the pond for cocktails, live music and laughter, letting the day unfold naturally.

Golden hour was spent wandering through the vineyards surrounding the château — a moment just for the two of them. With the sun low in the sky and a gentle breeze moving through the vines, everything slowed down. These are often the moments couples remember most, and the ones I love capturing on film.

 

Hollie and Alex had envisioned a wedding film that felt candid, romantic and emotional. My approach was to document their day as it truly felt — unobtrusive, honest, and timeless — allowing space for real moments to breathe.

 

This wedding is a beautiful example of an intimate destination wedding in the South of France, where simplicity, atmosphere and emotion come together effortlessly.
